Welcome to Silverado Construction’s website. These Terms & Conditions / Service Agreement (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and any construction services we provide. By accessing or using our site or engaging with us for services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. Services Provided
Silverado Construction offers residential remodeling, construction management, and consulting services in California. All services are subject to a separate written contract that outlines project scope, costs, and timelines. Any modifications must be documented with a signed Change Order, which may affect pricing and timelines.
2. User & Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and current contact and project information
- Use our website lawfully and respectfully
- Grant us reasonable access to the property during working hours (Mon–Fri, 7am–5pm)
- Keep pets and children clear of active work zones
- Notify us of any site hazards or HOA regulations
3. Estimates & Proposals
Estimates are valid for 30 days and are non-binding until formalized by a signed agreement. Prices may change based on material costs, permitting, or site conditions. Change Orders will be documented and approved prior to additional work.
4. Payments
- A deposit may be required prior to project start
- Progress payments will be invoiced based on agreed milestones
- Final payment is due upon substantial completion
- Late payments may incur a fee of [Insert %] per 30 days overdue
- We reserve the right to pause work for non-payment
5. Permits & Inspections
Silverado Construction will assist in obtaining permits if specified in the contract. Clients are responsible for site access and compliance with HOA or neighborhood rules.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
If a project is canceled after signing, charges will reflect expenses incurred up to that point (e.g., labor, materials, permit fees). Deposits may be partially or fully non-refundable depending on project stage.
7. Work Delays
Timelines are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, supplier delays, permitting, or unforeseen site conditions. We will communicate any timeline changes promptly.
8. Warranty & Liability
We provide a 1-year limited workmanship warranty unless otherwise stated in your contract. Manufacturer warranties on materials may apply separately. Silverado Construction is not liable for:
- Damage due to misuse, neglect, or third-party modifications
- Delays beyond our control
- Incidental or consequential damages not specified in the contract
9. Intellectual Property & Website Use
All content on our site — including logos, text, images, and documents — is owned by Silverado Construction. You may not reuse, copy, or redistribute content without written consent. Misuse of our website is prohibited.
10. Third-Party Links
We may link to external resources or vendors. Silverado Construction is not responsible for the accuracy or practices of these third-party sites.
11. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we will first attempt to resolve the issue informally. If needed, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration in Butte County, CA, under California law.
12. Updates to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any new terms.
